Reggae / Revival Selector of the Year

DJ Fluid Irie long-standing soundman and selector from Leeds Uk. He spent many years on the legendary Mavrick Soundsystem followed by years on community radio where he established himself and was snapped up by Kiss 105 (later to become Galaxy 105). He followed that with another stint with BBC Radio Leeds and has made several appearances on BBC Radio 1xtra.

In addition to this he has constantly been active on the club circuit playing across the UK and abroad, playing with the likes of Luv Injection, Seani B, Big John, Wayne Irie, Trevor Nelson, Unitone, Team Shellinz Alliance, Bosey Smiley, Saxon/Allan Brando and many others.  Last year he won the Strictly Vinyl Cup Clash in Manchester beating DJs from Birmingham, Manchester, London and Sheffield and in 2013 he won the UK Northern Big People Championship.

In Leeds he formed the Leeds Black Awards, The Leeds Black Film Club and hosts The Leeds Carnival and Black Music Festival
